Related Links IBAW was founded in 1993 as a coalition of stakeholders in order to promote the idea of biodegradable plastics. It has the legal status of an association in German law, it pursues non-commercial goals. Membership is open to anyone who identifies with the aims of the IBAW and who recognizes its statues.
Biodegradable Product Institute (BPS) Biodegradable Plastic Society was organized in 1989. The main purpose of the Society is to establish technology of biodegradable (GreenPla) and to lead extensive, commercial use of the GreenPla.
International Compostability Certification Network
(ICCN) The ICCN is a global network of institute performing quality management system for compostable plastic and paper products. An important area of activities is the certification of compostable packaging.
Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) Biodegradable Products Institute is a multi-stakeholder association of key individuals and groups from government, industry and academia, which promotes the use, and recycling of biodegradable polymeric materials (via composting).
